PaintCare in Illinois launched this month! PaintCare Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, represents paint manufacturers (paint producers) to plan and operate paint stewardship programs in U.S. The Illinois program kicked off December 1, 2025, with over 250 drop-off sites across the state through partnerships with paint retail stores and local government facilities.
PaintCare makes it easy to recycle leftover paint. Mayor Marchese and the Darien City Council encourage residents to take advantage of this environmental program which has collected an estimated 87 million gallons of paint nationwide.
